I'm powering through the week and this has been on repeat. It makes me want to dance...in fact I did have a little solo dance break in my room the other day while getting ready.

Three More Days

This week of work is going to blow. We all have bad weeks so I am not going to go into too much detail but instead going to focus on getting through the next three days with a lot of coffee, little sleep and a couple minor melt downs.

In other news I have decided to focus on my creative side and spend more time with my photography and music. I just downloaded some great lessons for photography and I plan to become awesome at it. That's right...awesome. Oh and in case you were wondering what musical talent I have, I really don't have any but I have decided to learn to play the ukulele. Wish me luck!

Eye Opening

I ventured to Target the other night in search of some holiday items and while there I decided to browse the clothes section to find a cute top for the upcoming holiday party. Being as it is the winter and my stomach may have expanded slightly after Thanksgiving I was trying to find something that wasn't too tight.

Well I was in luck! I found a cute top that seemed to give just the right amount of room around the stomach. I quickly glanced around to see if there where anymore tops like that in the area and saw a sign for maternity. I was shopping in the maternity section. Needless to say I think I need to lose weight.

If Only

My cousin KQ posted a video last night of a cover of one of my favorite Robyn songs. So today I am going to to pass on her music choice and keep spreading the Robyn love. If only I had these moves....and that awesome hairdo.

Prayers and Perspective

My cousin Tommy had brain surgery today. He was literally in surgery all day. Today was spent silently praying and thinking about Tommy.

It shouldn't take something like this to put things into perspective, to remind you about how precious life is and to open your eyes just a little wider but it always does.

Back At It...

I took a nice long break from this blog and decided it was time to get at it again! Life has been happening very quickly these days so instead of recapping everything that happen in the past month I thought I would just start fresh with December.

Getting into the Christmas spirit I took my dad to a theater show Sunday night as a Christmas gift.  The Pig Pen Theater Co. put on a creative and heartwarming production of the "Old Man and The Old Moon" at the Writers Theater in Glencoe. This group of guys radiate talent and told a beautiful story.

I also recently saw these guys perform at Schubas and now their music has been added into the rotation the last couple weeks.
