Sibling Chats

With only two out of the five of us kids living in Chicago my siblings have gotten into a pretty solid habit of group text messaging. It's a fun way for us to, not only keep in touch, but also a way to remind each other that we are thinking of one another. Plus its a quick way to let each other know when Babs is having her moments of craziness.
We do love her.

Don't get me wrong, my siblings and I aren't always nice to each other. Let me remind you that there are five of us so when one of us is mad at someone you can find someone else to lean on, making it very easy to stay mad. :) Plus all 5 of us are stubborn, opinionated, passionate and smart. It has made for some colorful conversation.

The thing that I love about those group text is that its a constant reminder that even though we have our moments of totally hating each other we always move on. That's the thing about siblings, you can have moments that you think they are crazy, where you are totally embarrassed by them, and even moments where they hurt you but you never stop loving them. No matter what in happens they are always part of you.

Plus if you got a text like this every so often you would be happy you had them around too...

Kirk: Actual quote. "One direction is kind of alternative." - Mary Kate
MaryKate: I was simply saying they aren't a traditional boy band
Michael: What makes a boy band traditional?

Nora: remember how Tom got in trouble by his sister in law for pooping at this brother's place?
MaryKate: Ha ha if that happened in our family no one would ever be talking to each other
Bridget: Poor Tom
Michael: I don't think I ever heard that story but that is so weird

Nora: Just spent 50 bucks at chili's for two of us. We're about to stuff our fat faces...you better believe there's wings in there

Michael: How come I miss out on everything?
Bridget: Because your always at concerts
MaryKate: you were in school for like 8 years
Bridget: And your not even a doctor...fail...jk

Nora: What was Brendan's Christmas list when he was little:
1. Casido aka tuxedo
2. Lake house
3. tempurpedic mattress and what else?
Oh yeah Rolex

Notice Brendan has yet to reply to any message. We let it slides since he is our favorite.
This might explain my love for long hair.

Love, love, love
